Cycle Republic reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2. Products
Cycle Republic sells bicycles, bicycle components, accessories, riding gear, maintenance products, and related services.
2.1 Product Information
- Product images are provided for illustration purposes only.
- Manufacturers may update specifications, components, graphics, colors, packaging, accessories, or features without prior notice.
- Actual products supplied may differ slightly from the images and descriptions displayed on the website.
2.2 Bicycle Assembly
- Bicycles may arrive in different stages of assembly depending on the manufacturer and packaging requirements.
- Some bicycles may require final assembly, adjustment, or tuning by the customer or a local bicycle mechanic before use.
- Assembly requirements, where applicable, may be disclosed on the product page.
2.3 Cosmetic Variations
Minor cosmetic marks, scuffs, paint imperfections, cable impressions, packaging marks, or transportation-related blemishes that do not affect functionality, safety, or structural integrity shall not be considered defects.
2.4 Genuine Products
Cycle Republic guarantees that all bicycles, spare parts, and accessories sold through its official channels are genuine products sourced from authorized manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers.
3. Orders & Payment
3.1 Order Acceptance
- All orders are subject to availability and verification.
- An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order.
- Orders are deemed accepted only upon dispatch.
3.2 Order Cancellation
Cycle Republic reserves the right to refuse, limit, modify, or cancel any order due to:
- Stock discrepancies
- Pricing errors
- Suspected fraud
- Logistical constraints
- Any other operational reason
3.3 Pricing & Promotions
- Prices, discounts, offers, cashback programs, exchange offers, loyalty benefits, and promotional schemes may vary between online and offline sales channels.
- Certain offers may be restricted based on geography, product category, inventory availability, sales channel, or promotional period.
- Online offers cannot be redeemed in physical stores and vice versa unless expressly stated otherwise.
3.4 Payment Terms
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.
- Full payment must be completed before order processing and dispatch.
3.5 Order Modifications & Cancellations
- Customers requiring changes to an order should contact Cycle Republic as soon as possible after placing the order.
- Cycle Republic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate modification requests before dispatch but cannot guarantee that changes can be made once order processing has commenced.
- Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch at Cycle Republic's discretion.
4. Delivery
4.1 Shipping & Delivery
- Cycle Republic strives to process and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days of order confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays.
- Standard and expedited shipping options may be available depending on product availability and serviceable locations.
- Delivery timelines may vary based on product availability, destination, courier serviceability, weather conditions, public holidays, and circumstances beyond our control.
- Estimated delivery timelines provided by Cycle Republic are indicative only and shall not constitute guaranteed delivery commitments.
4.2 Shipping Methods & Charges
- Available shipping methods, delivery options, and applicable shipping charges shall be displayed during checkout.
- Shipping charges may vary based on product weight, dimensions, destination, and selected delivery method.
- Free delivery may be offered for selected products, order values, promotional campaigns, or serviceable locations at Cycle Republic's discretion.
4.3 Tracking Information
Where available, tracking details will be provided after dispatch to enable customers to monitor shipment progress.
4.4 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact information provided are accurate and complete.
Cycle Republic shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional charges, or losses arising from inaccurate customer information.
4.5 Delivery Inspection
Any transit damage, missing parts, missing accessories, incorrect items, or accessory defects must:
- Be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Include clear photographic evidence.
Claims reported after the applicable period may not be accepted.
4.6 Pickup Orders
- Where Cycle Republic offers store pickup, kerbside pickup, or other collection services, customers shall follow the instructions communicated at the time of order fulfillment.
- Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.
- Customers may be required to collect orders within the specified pickup period.
- Failure to collect an order within a reasonable timeframe may result in cancellation or additional handling requirements at Cycle Republic's discretion.
- Contactless pickup options may be offered where operationally feasible.
5. Returns, Replacements & Exchanges
5.1 Returns & Refunds
Goods once sold cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for reasons including:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect product selection
- Preference changes
- Incompatibility with existing equipment
- Delivery delays outside the reasonable control of Cycle Republic
Returns, replacements, exchanges, or refunds may only be considered in cases involving:
- Manufacturing defects
- Transit damage
- Approved warranty claims
provided such claims are reported within 7 days of receipt and are supported by appropriate evidence, including photographs where applicable.
5.2 Repair, Replacement & Refund Hierarchy
Cycle Republic shall, wherever reasonably possible, attempt to resolve product issues through:
- Repair of the affected product or component;
- Replacement of the affected component or spare part;
- Replacement of the product, where repair is not reasonably possible.
Refunds shall only be considered where:
- A manufacturing defect is confirmed;
- An approved warranty claim exists;
- Repair is not reasonably possible;
- Replacement is not reasonably possible; and
- Cycle Republic and/or the manufacturer approves the claim.
5.3 Replacement & Exchange Eligibility
Replacement or exchange may be considered where:
- A genuine manufacturing defect exists;
- Transit damage has occurred;
- The issue is reported within 7 days of receipt;
- Supporting photographs or evidence are provided;
- The defect cannot reasonably be resolved through repair or replacement of individual components; and
- The claim is approved by Cycle Republic and/or the manufacturer.
5.4 Final Decision
The final decision regarding repair, replacement, exchange, refund, or rejection of any claim shall remain solely with Cycle Republic and/or the respective manufacturer.
6. Warranty Policy
6.1 Warranty Coverage
- All warranty coverage is provided strictly in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer.
- Cycle Republic acts only as a facilitator for warranty claims and does not provide any independent warranty.
- Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, or verification by the manufacturer before approval.
- Warranty processing timelines depend on manufacturer approval, spare part availability, and replacement logistics.
6.2 Cosmetic Conditions
Minor cosmetic marks, scuffs, paint imperfections, cable impressions, packaging marks, or transportation-related blemishes that do not affect functionality, safety, or structural integrity shall not be considered defects.
6.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Chains
- Brake pads
- Brake cables
- Gear cables
- Bearings
- Tyres
- Tubes
- Grips
- Saddles
- Pedals
- Consumables
- Cosmetic damage
- Accidental damage
- Misuse
- Neglect
- Improper assembly
- Unauthorized repairs
- Unauthorized modifications
6.4 Accessories
- Accessories are not covered under any independent Cycle Republic warranty and shall be governed by the manufacturer's warranty terms, where applicable.
- Any issue relating to an accessory, including manufacturing defects or transit damage, must be reported within 7 days of receipt together with photographic evidence.
7. Service Policy
7.1 General Service
- No free service is provided for any products.
- Routine maintenance remains the responsibility of the customer.
This includes:
- Brake adjustment
- Gear tuning
- Wheel truing
- Lubrication
- Cleaning
- General upkeep
7.2 Store Purchase Benefit
For bicycles purchased directly from a Cycle Republic retail store, a limited one-month workmanship warranty may be provided on repairs or adjustments performed by Cycle Republic.
This benefit does not apply to e-commerce purchases.
8. Website Usage
Users may not:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Interfere with website functionality
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
Cycle Republic reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to users who violate these Terms.
9. Governing Law & Limitation of Liability
9.1 Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
9.2 Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
9.3 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that bicycles are assembled, inspected, and maintained in a safe operating condition before use.
9.4 Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cycle Republic's liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product or service.
- Cycle Republic shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of products purchased through the website.
- Cycle Republic shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, transportation disruptions, strikes, government actions, supplier delays, or courier-related disruptions.
